Soft boiled, hard boiled, or raw, stainless steel egg shell opener with pull release
It happens every time you crack the egg top and shell pieces fall straight into the yolk. Fishing them out slows the whole prep down before breakfast even starts. Score a clean line around the egg top and lift the shell straight off.
Set the 1.37 inch cup over the egg top, pull the ball, and release. The round blade scores the shell so the top lifts straight off. Made from 304 stainless steel, it handles soft boiled, hard boiled, and raw eggs.
A cup holds the tool steady over the egg while the blade scores. It also works on century eggs and glutinous rice eggs in the same single motion. The slim stainless steel build rinses clean quickly after each use.
This scored line means the top eggshell lifts off in one clean piece. No shell fragments scatter across the surface when the top comes off this way, and the compact stainless steel build stores flat in any kitchen drawer.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the pull and release mechanism work?
Place the 1.37 inch cup flat over the top of the egg to hold the tool steady, then pull the ball upward and release it. The spring-loaded action drives the round blade down in a full circle around the shell top, scoring a clean line so the cap lifts off in one piece without any fragments breaking away.
Does it work on different egg types or just standard chicken eggs?
The tool works across soft boiled, hard boiled, raw, century, and glutinous rice eggs all in the same single motion. The 1.37 inch cup diameter fits most standard egg sizes across these varieties without needing any adjustment between uses.
Will shell pieces fall into the egg when using this?
No, the scored line runs cleanly around the full circumference of the shell top so the cap comes off in one complete piece. This eliminates the shell fragment problem that comes with tapping or cracking the top by hand, keeping the egg contents clean and ready to use.
How do I clean it after use?
A quick rinse under the tap is all it needs after each session. The 304 stainless steel construction does not hold onto residue and dries quickly, making it a practical tool for daily breakfast prep without adding cleaning time to your routine.
