Get A Greener Lawn Faster With This Grass Seed Mat
A patchy lawn that won't fill in evenly, even after reseeding, is a common spring frustration. This mat helps you grow thick, even grass in bare spots, slopes, and new garden beds without constant reseeding.
This roll holds grass seeds between two layers of biofabric that break down naturally over time. Unroll it over bare soil, press it down, and water it to activate the embedded fertilizer pellets. The fabric helps lock in moisture and regulate soil temperature, which can support faster seed germination.
It comes in two sizes: 8x118 in or 8x393 in, fitting narrow strips or longer runs. The polyester filament fabric helps hold seeds in place on slopes and reduce washout during heavy rain. You can cut the roll into smaller patches for targeted repairs around your yard.
The fabric helps retain moisture between waterings, which can reduce how often you need to run the hose. Micro pellet fertilizer feeds seedlings as they sprout and helps build up organic matter in the soil. The mat is designed to work across a range of weather conditions.
-
Faster Seed Germination: The biofabric helps trap moisture and heat, creating favorable conditions for root development.
-
Embedded Fertilizer Pellets: Micro pellets release nutrients as seeds germinate, feeding young grass and enriching the soil over time.
-
Moisture Retention Fabric: The polyester filament material helps hold water against the soil, which can reduce watering frequency and seed washout.
-
Slope Erosion Support: The mat helps anchor seeds on inclines and uneven terrain, reducing soil and seed loss during rain or irrigation.
-
Seasonal Growth Support: The fabric helps regulate soil temperature and humidity, which can support grass growth across seasonal changes.
-
Easy Roll Out Application: Unroll the mat over bare areas, cut it to size for patches, and secure it with stakes or soil.
- Soil Health Support: The mat can help build organic matter in the soil, supporting structure and water retention over time.
